LOWELL Getting around the city may get a whole lot smoother – and safer - thanks to almost $11 million worth of road and sidewalk improvements and safety enhancements. The planned updates in paving, construction and maintenance of roads, sidewalks and crosswalks were included in the 2024 budget, which was approved by the City Council in June.
