I think this whackadoodle act of storming a hearing to which many of them were entitled to go in the first place was an act of frustration about whats really going on, which is the damaging testimony is coming out about the president. They are trying to protest about the process. The process is perfectly routine for congressional hearings. There are often private nonpublic depositions before there are public hearings. The republicans did it when they were in charge, but it is away of throwing things up in the air that gets us to talk about the protest rather than the substance of the hearings which have proven to be, i think, even more damaging substantively to the president than many of us had expected. I think theres something more than frustration we saw there. Thats that a couple of days ago, President Trump felt the republicans were not fighting hard enough for him. And so i dont know.
