their measures in place, and they brought out the strategy a while ago, there is a plan, that plan is not sufficient to deal with the challenges that households will face over the winter. there is a need for immediate and urgent increased level of financial support that those on the lowest incomes in the least efficient homes need now. if there is a reset of the market, needs to happen with the interest of the most vulnerable consumers front and centre, notjust about vulnerable consumers front and centre, not just about whether it s a ten or six monopoly situation. the prime minister s interview was a bit disturbing. he didn t understand the short term issues, but he had the opportunity to recognise that in order to avoid the dependence on fossil fuels, order to avoid the dependence on fossilfuels, and gas, it s notjust american issue, it s about making homes more efficient so that you are not so reliant and exposed to this

Unrented Rentals And Property Hoarders

Monday, 5 July 2021, 4:24 pm I was encouraged to hear Nicola Willis, National Party s spokesperson on housing, make the key point that the central problem in New Zealand s housing crisis is that of people being squeezed out of the private rental market. I made this point and more in detail earlier this year (Solving the Housing Crisis: Making Homes, 30 March). Note that being squeezed out need not mean an eviction or a discontinuation of a tenancy; it could refer to people being squeezed out from entering the market in the first place, squeezed out by city land hoarders refusing to supply the

Following recent grant, still no set site in Moffat County for proposed homeless shelter

Craig homeowner states she is not in negotiations with Housing First Alliance A homeowner whose address was suggested last week by Housing First Alliance of Craig as the potential new location for a proposed homeless shelter said it’s just not true that she was in negotiations with the organization for her property. Michele Munfreda is selling her home in the 800 block of Tucker Street due to a family situation that is causing her to leave the area. Before information was released by the Housing First Alliance of Craig last week claiming they were eyeing Munfreda’s property as the possible location for its proposed homeless shelter, she and her real estate agent Judy Bingham couldn’t keep up with all of the showings for the house.

20 Under 40: Kacey Lyons spreads her love of Moffat County

Kacey Lyons stands in front of King Homes and Land Realty along W. Victory Way in Craig. (Joshua Carney / Craig Press) A woman of many hats in the community, Kacey Lyons sure knows how to spread her love of Moffat County. A board member of the Women of Moffat County, the president of the Craig Association of Realtors, a real estate agent and a driving force behind the Gymkhana returning to Maybell last year, Lyons knows how to get things done to improve the way of life in Moffat County. It helps that she’s committed to her roots here in God’s country with her family and friends, taking in all there is to see and do in Moffat County any chance she gets, all while spreading the good word about our little slice of heaven here in Northwest Colorado.
