KATHMANDU, Feb 29: The Government of Japan handed over a classroom building to Shree Himalaya Secondary School (SHSS) in Makalu Rural Municipality, Sankhuwasabha District amid a ceremony on February 28. The new building was constructed with an assistance of USD 185,971 (approximately NPR 23.2 million) under the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP).
Amidst a jubilant atmosphere, Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) extended a grandiose welcome and offered heartfelt felicitations to the record holder climbers Tenjen Sherpa, Kristin Harila and Nima Rinji Sherpa, among others.
