Our Correspondent Moirang Khunou, Nov. 21 (EMN): Union DoNER (Development of North Eastern Region) Minister G Kishan Reddy formally opened the much-awaited Manipur Sangai Festival 2022 here at the well decorated Sangai Ethnic Park near Keibul Lamjao, the only floating park in world in Manipur’s Bishnupur district. Our Correspondent Imphal, Oct. 31(EMN): The Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was observed at 1st Bn Manipur Rifles parade ground in Imphal with Chief Minister N Biren Singh as chief guest on Monday. Council of ministers, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) Maharaj Leishemba Sanajaoba,MLAs, chairman of boards and corporations, chief secretary, deputy general of police, civil and police officers were present during the observation. Addressing the gathering, Biren Singh said Manipur is moving forward towards development including improvement in connectivity with other states, and further appealed to the public to join hands and work together for further development of the state. Behiang is a border village in Manipur’s Churachandpur district which borders Myanmar.
