Nagaland: Jubilee Memorial College bids farewell to outgoing professors

Our Correspondent Mokokchung, Sep. 9 (EMN): The Jubilee Memorial College (JMC) in Mokokhung bade farewell to its outgoing assistant professors namely Limasenla Jamir from the department of Sociology and Moalemla Imchen from the department of English during a programme held at JMC Hall on September 8. The college principal, Dr. Imtiwati Jamir, in a short speech, has acknowledged both the outgoing professors for their contribution for the betterment of the college. Short speeches were also delivered by Tsungrosenla Jamir and Lothungbeni Yanthan on behalf of the department of English and Sociology respectively. Yimyatetla also spoke on behalf of the JMC Students Council. SARFAESI Act a big window for entrepreneurs, says Nagaland PWD minister

Our Correspondent Mokokchung, July 15 (EMN): Minister of PWD (H&M) Tongpang Ozukum said on Friday that the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest (SARFAESI) Act has opened a big window for the Nagas and that it will benefit those interested in taking up business to establish their enterprises. The minister said this while addressing the inauguration programme of the Magnus Hotel & Restaurant at Mokokchung. The COVID-19 pandemic has made us realise that we have to work hard for self-sustenance, he said, adding that many youth have taken up entrepreneurship after the pandemic.
