When I was up in the Hunter Valley in December doing my inspections for the Gold Coast Magic Millions Sale Mick Talty who runs the famous nursery Edinglassie Stud told me there was a filly he was sure I would like. It was this filly. She is by Sizzling out of a More Than Ready mare named Sweet Talkin Woman I syndicated. He was right. She is a stunning filly. She is very strong, has a great hindquarter and terrific shoulder and great strength through the neck.
I have had great success with the progeny of Sizzling. I admit I missed the mark with a couple but I overall we have had good success with them. The first one I purchased was the Adelaide Magic Millions winner Zizzis who is a ½ sister to Rubisaki.

With a couple of wins overseas in the 2400m distance range before coming to Australia and getting to a middle distance for the first time since entering the Mark Newnham stable, it’s easy to see why the gelding is at the top of the ratings, he hasn’t finished worse than second in his three local starts and is ready to win however the $3.60 is on the skinny side.
