GIBBON The Gibbon Fairfax Winthrop (GFW) School Board meets at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8 in the Gibbon Elementary gym for a regular board meeting and closed session.
Agenda items include a closed session for preliminary consideration of allegations against an employee.
In her report, GFW Junior and Senior High Principal Brittany Galetka said she is excited to begin the new semester.
“It feels similar to the first day of school. In fact, we have had several families join our school and/or return from distance learning,” reported Galetka.
She said the National Honor Society finished up their food drive and the 8th-grade class will receive a prize in celebration of donating the most amount of food.
