A lot of people are saying that those no votes were selfish, that you were looking out for the interest of very wealthy, blue states who are being subsidized by poor states in this country and many people are wondering why still the 13 of you voted no. Well frankly im offended by the notion that we are somehow being subsidized by other states in fact new york taxpayers send almost 50 billion more to washington than it receives back , but thats not the critical issue for me. The federal government with this tax bill is reversing 104 years of policy which says that were not going to double tax, the taxes that are paid by citizens of the state to their State Government or their local government.
