8pm: Road closures tonight Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is urging motorists to plan ahead for some road closures across the region tonight. The first, at State Highway 1 at Kilbirnie, will be closed from 9pm to 4.30am for resurfacing. The second, at State Highway 2’s south-bound on ramp at Moonshine Rd in Trentham, will also be closed from 9pm to 4.30am. There will be a detour via Whakatiki St.
