Gallantry awards of 4 Mujib killers revoked

The government has revoked the gallantry awards of four self-claimed killers of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founding president of Bangladesh, with his family in 1975.
The Liberation War Affairs Ministry, issuing a circular on Sunday, revoked the gallantry awards of four retired army officials Shariful Haq Dalim, MA Rashed Chowdhury, SHMB Noor Chowdhury and Mosleh Uddin who had been awarded by the government for their valiant role in the War of Independence.
Retired lieutenant colonel Dalim was decorated as Bir Uttam, the second highest gallantry award of Bangladesh, while retired lieutenant colonel Nur was decorated with Bir Bikram award. Retired lieutenant colonel Rashed and Moslem Uddin got Bir Pratik awards.
