parent company of nbc universal is represented by the trade group, and in wgal some of abc and versailles news division employees. joining me now to break this all down is the chief negotiator for the wga go shooting committee. and daniel sanchez, another member of the wga negotiating committee. thank you both for being here. ella, i want to start with you. what can you tell us about negotiations since the start of the strike? i can tell you that right now, rioters are on strike. we spent six weeks talking to the studios and streamers, and telling them about the existential crisis that rioters are facing about the future of their profession, and what this negotiation had to do to solve those problems. and through those entire six weeks, the companies did not manage to provide a meaningful response. and so rioters had the choice to collectively go on strike.
