Another large vaccination clinic also opened at Telford International Centre last Thursday and vaccination centres also opened at Ludlow Racecourse and the New Bucks Head stadium in Wellington earlier this week, while Shrewsbury Indoor Bowls Centre was opening its doors as a coronavirus vaccination centre today.
Mr Dunne also said as of last week, every care home resident across the county had been offered a vaccine.
He added: Across Shropshire more than 50 per cent of the over 75s have been vaccinated as attention turns to the priority groups three and four, which is anyone over 70 and other clinically vulnerable people.

There is no doubt that things are tough at the moment. The number of patients in our hospitals who have coronavirus remains very high. And, sadly, we are still seeing people dying.
On top of this, we are continuing to see high numbers of acutely unwell patients presenting at our hospitals.
You may have heard that, last week, we declared an internal ‘incident’ which meant we put additional measures in place to ensure that we could deal with the additional numbers of patients that we were seeing. I want to thank everybody within the trust and our partners for their hard work.

Telford & Wrekin Council leader Shaun Davies says Stirchley Medical Practice and Dawley Medical Practice are planning to start giving Covid jabs in the next couple of days.
He says Hollinswood & Priorslee Medical Practice is planning to start vaccinating by the weekend and Charlton Medical Practice, in Oakengates, by the end of the week.
People are being asked to be patient and wait until they are contacted by the NHS and invited to an appointment.
