Ram temple: Saryu course & retaining wall delay final blueprint | Lucknow News

Representative image AYODHYA: The blueprint for the Ram temple foundation in Ayodhya could not be hammered out on Thursday even after a five-hour brainstorming session at Faizabad Circuit House chaired by temple construction committee chief, Nripendra Mishra, with country’s top engineers. The design is likely to be finalised in the next round of discussions on Friday after engineers of Larsen & Toubro, Tata Group and other experts arrive at a consensus on composition of the retaining wall, which will be erected to block the meandering stream from Saryu that flows under the Ramjanmabhoomi site, said a key member of the temple trust. “The design has to include the possibility of the Saryu river changing course, swamping its banks and then damaging the foundation,” he said.
