The Low Pressure Area South of Zamboanga City has dissipated at 8:00 AM today. However, the Tail-End of a Frontal System (Shear Line) is still affecting the Eastern Visayas.
Hazards affecting land areas: In the next 24 hours, the Tail-End of a Frontal System (Shear Line) will bring moderate to heavy rains over Samar Provinces while, light to moderate with at times heavy rains over the rest of Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte. Flooding (including flashfloods) and rain-induced landslides may occur during heavy or prolonged periods of rainfall, especially in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards or in localities that received significant amount | rainfall during the past couple of days or weeks.
