Saint-Gobain is delighted to announce a collaborative venture with Lendlease, aimed at facilitating the deployment of cutting-edge Saint-Gobain Glass solutions to pave the way for more sustainable projects.
As part of the project, Şişecam will develop competitive, low-carbon footprint, high-value-added automotive glass in line with the EU's carbon neutrality target for 2035.
After producing low-carbon glass at its facility in Moustier, Belgium, last year, the float company says it has manufactured the glass at a second facility in Seingbouse, France. The facility produced low-carbon Planibel Clearlite float glass, which represents a 40% reduction in carbon footprint relative to other glasses.
