In his Maine Stories series, Teagan tells us all kinds of wicked cool stuff that we probably didn t know about. While some of it is factual, there s always plenty of exaggeration and ridiculousness to keep it entertaining.
And after all since our great state had a Bicentennial in 2020 with very little celebration because of friggin Covid, funny videos like these are a great way to help commemorate Maine s 200th Birthday.
Valley Fest announces 2021 lineup

Valley Fest has announced its music lineup for the 2021 festival.
Travis, Goldfrapp and Deacon Blue will headline the festival, which will take place from July 30 to August 1, 2021 near Chew Valley Lake.
Festival favourites The Blockheads, The Cuban Brothers and Oh My God! It’s The Church will also perform at the festival, which is now in its seventh year.

Senseless Things and Wildhearts singer/guitarist Mark Keds has died at the age of 50.

Everybody knew Mark Keds. At least that’s how it felt in early 1991, when the guitar-toting frontman and his mates in the Senseless Things signed a major deal with Epic Records.
By that point the well-loved Twickenham four-piece had become perennial fixtures on the London club scene, having zig-zagged their way up and down the country while releasing a slew of impressive singles and their debut album, Postcard C.V.
Released in ’89, the album showcased Mark’s unvarnished talent as a songwriter. His ability to write infectious pop-punk nuggets full of teenage angst was exemplified by the likes of Come Together, Sneaking Kisses, Drunk And Soppy and Too Much Kissing – tunes that echoed the likes of The Who and Buzzcocks.

By hanging a glitterball and tinsel curtain in the open plan kitchen of her home in west London, underemployed pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor became a beacon of national joy. Every Friday through the darkest hours of the pandemic, the 41-year-old mother-of-five staged an ebullient, cheerfully chaotic Kitchen Disco, filmed on an iPhone and streamed live on Instagram.
