A POIGNANT feature produced at the start of the first lockdown has gone on display at a Silsden care home. Hand and foot prints of residents at Summerfield, in Skipton Road, were taken at the outset of lockdown last year – to form part of a large artwork. Now the completed piece has been put on show. And Summerfield care manager Angela Golding said the loss of several residents during the past year had given the project added poignancy. “I had this idea for the piece – which could be displayed for years – at the start of lockdown and involved our then activities co-ordinator Louise Pennington,” said Angela.
