Marlyn G. Callahan was born July 21, 1938, in Jerome, Idaho, to Roy M. and Dorothy Ellen (Paul) Callahan, the fourth of seven siblings. He died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022.

Exchange Club of Muncie honored 30 Muncie 10th-graders from Muncie Central High School and Burris Laboratory School during the Club s annual Sophomore Honors Day luncheon on May 13.
Exchange Club has hosted this event for more than half a century to recognize students early in their high school careers and encourage and inspire them to continue to work toward continued high achievement as they complete high school, a release stated.
Student honorees enjoyed lunch with club members. Kristen Suding, principal designer and CEO of Inland Interiors and a 2002 Central graduate, was the speaker for the program.
Students recognized were in the top 20% of their class at Burris or Central. This year s honorees from each school are:

Allianz Australia has been chastised by the prudential regulator after it was found dragging its heels on fixing âpersistent and seriousâ weaknesses in risk management, with both its top brass and its German parent, Allianz SE, scolded for good measure.

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority said a court-enforceable undertaking was necessary to ensure Allianz would stop dithering and finally address problems it has been promising to fix.
âAllianzâs weaknesses in its risk culture, risk governance, and risk management are longstanding,â APRA said in a statement.
