Global Bonds – A popular and high-performing sector that remains complicated and diverse
A deep dive into events in one of the most popular sectors of the year so far

As 2020 draws to a close, many will be looking back on how their portfolios have performed over the year. One of the most popular sectors of this year has been Global Bonds.
With a total of 191 funds across just 72 providers, the sector is one of the largest in terms of constituent funds. Many management groups have multiple funds in varying focuses. For example, Axa has 13 funds, as does Pimco, and the sector also houses 11 of Vanguard’s tracker funds. The sector is also home to a degree of types of fixed income from high yield, government or corporate bonds.
