The Riverside Co. has formed a new trade services franchise platform under the moniker Threshold Brands that brings together five portfolio companies at launch, with plans for additional rollups.
The five companies comprising Threshold were all acquired at various points in the last eight months and comprise MaidPro (Boston), FlyFoe (Boston), Men in Kilts (Langley, British Columbia), Pestmaster Services (Reno, Nev.) and USA Insulation (Cleveland).
MaidPro is a national provider or residential and light cleaning commercial cleaning services with 270 franchise locations, which provides the framework for the Threshold platform.

Riverside acquires Rethink parent company Think Tech Labs for its SaaS platform Buildout Inc.

The Riverside Co. has acquired Think Tech Labs of Austin, Texas, a SaaS-based provider of customer-relationship management (CRM) software for commercial real estate brokerages and brokers, as an add-on to the firm s Chicago-based SaaS platform company Buildout Inc.
Terms of the deal, the first tuck-in deal for Buildout, were not disclosed.
Buildout, acquired in July 2020, is a marketing and CRM software provider also focused on the commercial real estate sector, making Think Tech an appropriate bolt-on business. Buildout helps clients create marketing brochures, syndicate property listings, update their websites for active listings and monitor buyer activity.
