WABO Clean Up
West Alexandria Community Volunteers will meet for their first Community Clean Up at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 10, at the WABO ball fields. There will be a second Clean Up on Saturday, April 17 at 8 a.m. and a third Clean Up at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 24. Come get involved in bettering your park for the kids in our community.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, GA Cherokee County School District students are advancing to the state level of the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition.
The annual writing contest is open to students in grades kindergarten through 12 and provides an opportunity for schools to encourage writing in a variety of genres. Each Cherokee County school submits a top entry for each grade level to compete at the district level. The district winners then advance to regional competition for the opportunity to compete statewide.
