Calling all gamers: the Logan Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting a Super Smash Bros tournament on Dec. 28 from 6 to 9:30 p.m., held at the Logan Community
The City of Logan is asking residents to be aware that its offices will be closed on Monday, July 5, in observance of Independence Day.
Residential garbage, recycling, and green waste will be collected on a regular schedule on Monday, however the landfill will be closed to the public.
The Logan Community Recreation Center will be open on Monday. The Logan Aquatic Center and Golf Course will be open on July 4 and July 5 for regular operating hours.
The Logan Library will be closed July 3 through July 5. The walk-up book drop next to the entrance will remain open.

â Jones Neighborhood Park â 400 West 625 North
â Kilowatt Park â 331 South 300 West
â Pioneer Parkway â 165 E. Poplar Avenue

â Logan Service Center East Lawn Area â 810 West 600 North
â Rendezvous Park Dog Park â 1500 South US 89-91
â Dry Canyon Dog Run Area at the east end of Mountain Road behind the flood impoundments
â Deer Pen dog run area (unfenced) at 1500 North between the canal and Aspen Drive.
Dog waste must be bagged and placed in provided trash cans in city parks.
On all Logan city trails, dogs must be on a leash and under the ownerâs control. Dog waste must be bagged and disposed of in provided trash cans. Do not leave bagged dog waste on trails or trail shoulders. As a reminder, dogs are not permitted in Logan parks unless designated as an off-leash dog area.
