If it has no home, it will have no food. “As of right now, we don’t have a place to go to,” said Leslie Ramone, executive director of Loaves & Fishes. Last year, we served over 50,000 meals. 2021 Readers' Choice Awards, Clarksville TN

I’m not only news director at The Leaf-Chronicle, but I’m also a resident of Clarksville. I have the late night cravings and date night planning responsibilities to prove it.   As a fairly recent transplant to the area, the 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards helped me navigate around town during trying times, and better understand organizations that shape our community.  That’s why the 2021 edition of the Readers Choice Awards is so important.  Every day, folks are moving to Montgomery County. And The Leaf-Chronicle wants to help them get settled. That’s what good neighbors do.  And, no, Clarksville is not closed. A few more vehicles on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. won’t make that big of a difference.
