A road trip in which the 15th-ranked Winona State University softball team went 4-0 last week yielded a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference honors for the Warriors.
Senior pitcher Liz Pautz was tabbed Pitcher of the Week after going 2-0 for head coach Greg Jones, claiming a 13-1 win on Tuesday, March 9, against the University of Illinois - Springfield and a 6-2 victory of University of Missouri - St. Louis on Wednesday, March 10. Pautz collected 21 strikeouts over the two games and ran her record to 4-0 on the year.
