Online Classes: Many schools in state shift classes online | Ranchi News

Several schools in the state have initiated online classes for students in standard I to VIII to combat the intense heat and ensure uninterrupted academic progress. The school education and literacy department in Ranchi has suspended classes from kindergarten to Class VIII in all categories of schools due to hot weather conditions. Classes for students of Class IX and above will be held from 7 am to 11:30 am. Teaching and non-teaching staff have been assigned various tasks during this period. Districts in the state have recorded temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, with the highest at 45.1 degrees Celsius in Seraikela.
