Audrey Pittsley, 79, of Brule, WI, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at St. Luke’s in Duluth, MN. Audrey grew up on a farm in Fort Ransom, ND. She graduated as valedictorian from Lisbon High School. In 1963, she married the love of her life, Verne Pittsley, and moved to Brule. Some of Audrey’s occupations included filing paperwork for a courthouse and being a home health caregiver. Her favorite role of all was that of “Grandma”. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking for her family. Anyone who knew Audrey knew how important family was to her and she was just as important to them. She is dearly missed by her daughters, Joni Pittsley and Renae (Peter) Nicoletti; grandchildren, Casey (Mitchell) Dehate, Jamie Nicoletti, and Cheyenne and William Tasky. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister and her husband Verne. An intimate family service will be held at a later date.
