While two of Clarendon’s school districts will consolidate in July, all three are now collaborating with F. E. DuBose Career Center to assess career and technical education programs offered at middle and high schools in the area. “We are requesting student and parent feedback to help us serve everyone better,” explains F. E. DuBose Director, Dr. Lisa Justice.
A committee of representatives from each district was formed in December to study the current CTE curriculum and future options for students. “Career and Technical Education courses typically provide highly-skilled and rigorous programs, but we also want to make sure that what we are offering is the most relevant to our students, their parents, and employers in our region,” says Justice.
