right now, on cnn. hello, i m don lemon. thank you for joining us tonight. in life, as it was a place where trayvon martin used to run and play. a place where he was among friends and learned about team work. long before a bullet ended it all. tonight, a candle light vigil at the team where he played youth football. teammates, coaches, friends and people who never knew martin joined his family in remembering the 17-year-old at the center of a national firestorm. martin s parents thanked everyone for their wishes and prayers. he never had any qualms with anybody. trayvon did love this park. this park is definitely an intricate part of our family. we will always love you. we thank you for everything that you ve done for us. the vigil followed a massive rally in sanford, florida where martin was shot. protesters marched, furious how the investigation has been handled. police did not charge or arrest george zimmerman. zimmerman got suspicious when he spotted martin walking

get done on deadline. funding the government, that s a big project with a very important deadline. and consider this. according to expedia.com, the average american worker gets 18 vacation days a year. 18. and they only use 14 of them. did i mention that since january, congress has only been in session for 125 days? plus, the divided 112th congress promises to be on pace as the least productive in recent memory. since january, only 14 house measures have been signed into law by president obama. and look at this, when democrats controlled the house last year from january to june, 466 bills and resolutions were passed. by comparison, over the same timeframe this year, only 207 bills or resolutions got approval. they spent more time bickering than getting anything actually done. yet house lawmakers sure do get paid a lot. rank and file representatives earn $174,000 a year. the speaker of the house takes home $223,500. now, compare that to the average american salary of around $4

economic forecast. let s get to alison kosik. she s monitoring everything today where at one point today, the dow tanked morning 500 points. what s going on? that s right. these worries about a recession were ampfullied today. not just in the u.s., but overseas as well. the federal reserve spooked everybody first. this was yesterday. the fed giving a really bleak assessment of the u.s. economy warning of significant downside risks to the economic outlook. translation there that the economy will get significantly weaker. then overnight, we got weak manufacturing reports out of europe, the u.k, even china, which had been an engine of growth out of the great recession. you have to remember, wolf, we re all interconnected. only been one economist to tell us europe is probably in a recession and the u.s. is teetering on the brink of one. wolf? so, basically, it doesn t look very promising right now. what are they brace you for tomorrow? tomorrow, we re trying to see if we re
