An 84-year-old man was killed and another was seriously injured following a shooting in front of a Norfolk convenience store Wednesday night. Police responded to the Triple C Convenience store on Lindenwood Avenue following a report of a person being shot at about 8 p.m. James R. Carter was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to a local hospital where he later died, .
