4/26/2021 - Saint Helena, CA Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) and UNCF (United Negro College Fund) proudly announce scholarship applications are now being accepted for students wishing to pursue a career in the wine industry. The first recipients will receive support toward college tuition this fall.
Last September, NVV committed $1 million to the fund, pledging $200,000 each year for the next five years, and has begun a fundraising effort to build the fund beyond that initial investment. The NVV represents one of the foremost wine regions and strives to be a leader in the world of wine. We hope to strengthen our industry by attracting more diverse talent who will bring new points of view and contribute in meaningful ways to all aspects of our wine community, said Linda Reiff, president and CEO of Napa Valley Vintners. Saint Helena, CA – The best week in the Napa Valley wine business is back. The Napa Valley Vintners (NVV) are excited to announce that registration for Premiere Napa Valley is open. For this year only, Premiere Napa Valley is scheduled for the week of June 1 with the grand finale on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
Napa Valley winemakers craft their finest wines exclusively for Premiere Napa Valley, and they are excited to debut the elegant 2019 vintage at this year’s auction. A handful of wineries will also provide a sneak peek of Pinot Noir and several white wine varieties from 2020.
