Astera Health President and CEO Joel Beiswenger clears up any confusion on the public’s part that the former Wesley Hospital building, which is owned by the health care provider, will be torn down.
The Wadena County Historical Society will offer more chances for people to share their ideas about what to do with the Wesley Hospital as it did at the Rotary Club’s Corn and Chicken Feed on Aug. 10.
A Wadena County Historical Society representative will be at the Wadena Rotary Corn and Chicken Feed from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, to solicit input on how to repurpose the old hospital.
Partners for a Healthy Wadena is looking once again looking to improve the quality of life in the city of Wadena, The organization was behind such projects as the downtown ornamental street lights.
Applicants such as the Wadena County Historical Society will present their proposed project on June 14 to other nonprofits. Sourcewell will then award tens of thousands of dollars to area nonprofits.
