Live where you live, this is abc 7 news. Terrifying moments off the coast of Monterey County. A diver attack by whats believed to be a great white shark. Good evening. Im cheryl jennings. Thanks for joining us. Dan and ama have the night off. The shark attack happened in Still Water Cove offer pebble beach and that diver mayo his life to two First Responders who happened to be in the right place at the right time. Reporter the diver was spear fishing with his father 80 yards off pebble beach when the shark bit his leg. He swam to the surface to tell his dad what he had seen, and when he was at the surface the shark actually attacked him. Reporter officials believe it was a great white based on the bite marks. The diver mangled to get his boat back to shore. We have somebody on shore. You see a boat in the water but the subjects inside are yelling and we believe it is some type of shark bite.
