Six. This is day four of our heat wave. It starter out on friday with a high of 93. Saturdays high 93. Yesterday we maxed out at 90 and today coming in at 93 degrees here in philadelphia. Well above normal. Average for us this time of year is 84 degrees well above that mark today. When you look at the current heat index not much to take in. It feels like 94 in the city, 87 in allentown. Of late wallenpaupack and on the radar theres a lot of green there but its generally on the lighter side. You can see its moving from southwest to northeast and as we go in toward the philadelphia area you can see you get a burst of rain every once in a while but we do not have the heavy rain developing yet. We do expect some development around the washington, d. C. Area as we go through the afternoon. This area down in North Carolina looks like its going to miss to the east. But the futurecast shows the generally lighter rain start to get heavier as we go through the afternoon.
