Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Texas This past weekend, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston opened an exhibition entitled Electrifying Design: A Century of Lighting. The exhibition traces the evolution of electric lighting from its origins in the early 19 th century to present. Organized in three parts Typologies, The Bulb, and Quality of Light, the show invites museumgoers to look at the aesthetic, functional, and environmental qualities of electric light and see how lighting changed over the past century.
