Erin Allison started her education career in 2010. (District 202)
PLAINFIELD, IL New Lenox District 122 special education teacher Erin Allison will serve as assistant principal at District 202 s Liberty Elementary School next school year.
The District 202 Board of Education approved Allison at its April 12 regular meeting.
Allison will replace current Liberty Assistant Principal Megan Urban, who will be taking another position in the Student Services department next year.

Allison started her education career in 2010 as a teacher aide at a private school in Carbondale, Illinois.
From 2011-2021, she worked as a special education teacher and administrator at two schools in District 186 in Murphysboro, Illinois.

NEW LENOX, IL Republicans running on the Citizens for New Lenox Township slate had a strong election Tuesday, as all the slate s candidates are the projected winners for their races.
The projected winners include: Dave Medema as township clerk; Ronald Sly as highway commissioner; Philip Juarez as township collector; and Martin Boban, Barbara Kaupas, Kathy Hilton and Patricia Deiters as township trustees.

Tuesday s election results are unofficial until certified by the county on April 27.
Provisional Ballots cast on Election Day and all late Vote By Mail Ballots postmarked by Election Day will be counted at Provisional Count on April 20.
