With numerous Chicago snowstorms in full effect this month fully encapsulating cars and blanketing walkways I’ve been limited to local eateries and decided to try out a Vietnamese sandwich spot near me for dinner. Eating my way through the Vietnamese restaurants that run the food scene in Uptown, I know a thing or two about a good Bánh Mì. After dredging through inches of street-kissed snow, I arrived to pick up the order I called in at Bon Bon Sandwiches: Vietnamese Shrimp Spring Rolls and a Char Siu Pork Bánh Mì.
Crispy Edge potstickers to expand beyond St. Louis in 2021
The company is one of two Missouri businesses to gain federal certification through the USDAâs Cooperative Interstate Shipment program, which opens the door to national distribution of its frozen potstickers.
Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Crispy Edge is moving full speed.Â
Owner David Dresner opened the city s first potsticker-themed restaurant early in 2018 and quickly developed a local wholesale market for the myriad varieties of sweet and savory potstickers that his team manufactured in the same building. Â
