JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - A ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for January 13 for the Museum Trail.
The ceremony will be held at the pedestrian bridge along the trail, which is a short walk from Belhaven’s Laurel Street Park.
The ribbon-cutting will mark the official grand opening of the much anticipated 2.14-mile trail, which has been in the works for years.
The trail runs from the Mississippi Farmers Market in downtown Jackson to the LeFleur Museum District along Museum Boulevard in Northeast Jackson.
