Coronavirus has been suppressed in 24 areas of North Staffordshire - as Covid infection rates continue to fall.

The grim landmark of more than 100,000 coronavirus deaths in the UK has recently been passed, as the pandemic continues to claim lives. More than 600 deaths have been recorded in Stoke-on-Trent since the start of the pandemic, with a further 2,000 across Staffordshire since March. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has now compiled a searchable map which shows which parts of North Staffordshire
have been worst affected by coronavirus deaths - although it only so far has data up to the end of 2020.
