New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) defended his state’s controversial nursing home directive, which instructed nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients, contending this week it was Republicans who “politicized a health order” and referring to the order as a “smart” decision from a medical point of view.
“The Republicans politicized a health order that was put out by the state on March 25, which was, from a medical point of view, smart,” Cuomo said. “They wanted to blame nursing home deaths on that order”: The Republicans politicized that health order…by the Department of Health on March 25, which was from a medical point of view smart, @NYGovCuomo tries to claim.

Bronx, NY (77WABC) – Less than 24 hours after he was arrested by police, the man authorities say was behind numerous hate-crime related vandalism in Riverdale, was released from custody.
29-year-old Jordan Burnette, faced 42 charges, including burglary, criminal mischief, aggravated harassment and criminal trespassing all as hate crimes. Authorities say Burnette was responsible for smashing windows and cars at Jewish Synagogues throughout the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
After a week long search, and a crime-spree which spanned 11-days, police nabbed the suspect on Saturday morning, after he was riding a bicycle down the wrong-way of a street, near a synagogue which was damaged. Police say after Burnette was uncooperative with displaying identification, they booked him at the 50th precinct station and realized he fit the description of the person he was searching for.
Rep. Maxine Waters is in Minneapolis stirring up violence while an officer is on trial for murder. It’s her racist modus operandi. She has done it many times before. Several congressmen, including Rep. McCarthy, are calling for action, possibly expulsion.
Lest we forget Maxine embraced the thug who hurled concrete at Reginald Denny’s head
There are so many examples of her violent rhetoric, but did you know that during the LA riots she readily embraced the thug who hurled a concrete block at the head of an innocent truck driver, Reginald Denny. It left him permanently brain-damaged and ruined his life.
Derek Chauvin murder trial verdict.
Waters travelled to Brooklyn Center over the weekend amid continued civil unrest in the town after the fatal police shooting of
Daunte Wright. While participating in the local protests, Waters demanded a guilty verdict at Chauvin’s trial saying she would “fight with all of the people who stand for justice.”
“We’ve got to stay on the street, and we’ve got to get more active,” Waters said. “We’ve got to get more confrontational. We’ve got to make sure that they know that we mean business.”
Waters, a frequent magnet for right-wing criticism, drew a plethora of blowback from conservative pundits and news sources claiming her remarks were effectively an endorsement of violent protest and incendiary, radical action.
