Fairstone has announced the purchase of Chadney Bulgin to accelerate its growth strategy for 2021. The acquisition adds 27 advisers and 38 support staff, along with 11,000 wealth and mortgage clients, to the group.
Fairstone completed 10 acquisitions in 2020 and saw its funds under management increase by 32% to £10.7bn but profits for the year were “heavily understated”, its annual results show.
