The brand identity and website created by customer experience agency, KWP!, in collaboration with South Australia’s new annual winter event, Illuminate Adelaide, goes live today as part of the launch of the event’s program highlights.
The work is the result of months of close collaboration with Illuminate Adelaide co-founders and creative directors Rachael Azzopardi and Lee Cumberlidge.
KWP! group creative director, Joshua Fanning says it’s fitting to announce the brand as Illuminate Adelaide reveals its highly-anticipated highlights program celebrating innovation, music, art, light and technology over 17 days and nights from 16 July 2021.

City to light up this winter
Adelaide’s Botanic Gardens, city streets, laneways and iconic buildings will take centre stage in South Australia’s newest major event Illuminate Adelaide – a 17-day celebration of light, art and music.
The newly created winter event is set to bring the city to life during winter by creating a suite of immersive, innovative and entertaining must-see activities across July and August.
Premier Steven Marshall said Illuminate Adelaide was a terrific addition to SA’s year-round calendar of events.
“With over 150 installations, performances and events – including 41 world premieres – Illuminate Adelaide is going to give audiences around the country the chance to explore our city.
