2 charged with capital murder in abduction and killing of 18-year-old in Auburn

Two men have now been charged with capital murder in last year’s abduction and killing of an 18-year-old who vanished while walking in Auburn.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday said Marcus Okeef Wigley, 35, and Taharra Jaquay Brunson, 41, are charged in the death of Thomas Anthony Green. Both men were previously arrested by Auburn police on kidnapping charges in connection with Green’s disappearance and since had made bond on those charges.
Green, was reported missing to Auburn police on Sunday, Sept. 6 2020. He was last seen by a friend early Saturday, Sept. 5.
