Aeta students receive learning tablets, materials from Converge, CDC

(MANILA BULLETIN) Sixty learning tablets and nine Large Format Displays (LFDs) were given away to the selected Aeta students under the CDC-OB Montessori Pagsasarili Family Care Program during a turnover activity on Feb. 17. Converge ICT Chief Executive Officer Dennis Anthony H. Uy together with Converge Chairman Jose P. De Jesus, CDC Chairman Atty. Edgardo Pamintuan, CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan,  CDC Director Nestor Villaroman, Jr, and CDC Director Gen. Emmanuel Salamat led the distribution. In his speech, Gaerlan thanked Converge for its support and encouraged the parents of the students to continue valuing their children’s education. “We have seen the improvement of the students through this program. We started from 50 and now we have 80 students and counting,” Gaerlan said in a statement.
