A viral Facebook post accused the government of land grab in four barangays on the ground zero of the Marawi siege in 2017 after a family was told it could no longer pay taxes for its residential property.
MARAWI CITY, Mar. 12 (PIA) The Land Dispute Resolution Committee (LDRC) has approved its Implementing Guidelines and Rules of Procedure (IGRP) along with its financial work plan for the year 2021.
LDRC Chairman Hamid Aminoddin D. Barra, who is also the minister of BARMM’s Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD), signed the IGRP and work plan Thursday, March 11, during the committee’s session held at the Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM) Field Office in Lanao del Sur.
LDRC is an arbitration body that caters to land-related disputes and issues between private owners which are delaying the immediate rehabilitation and recovery of Marawi City, especially the Most Affected Area (MAA).
