Blackburn Magistrates Court A MAN who was refused entry to the home of his ex-partner s mum used a concrete block to smash kitchen windows and patio doors. Blackburn magistrates heard Matthew Nadin also smashed a gate and roof tiles leaving the homeowner shaking with fear. Nadin, 25, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty criminal damage. He was jailed for two months after the court was told he had been recalled on prison licence as a result of the offence and would be in prison until February. Andy Robinson, prosecuting, said the defendant s ex-partner was at he mum s home in Burnley when the defendant turned up and started banging on the door demanding to be let in.
