Lakeside Healthcare is recruiting paid volunteers to support its Covid-19 vaccinations and says its does not expect its GP practices to make a profit from their delivery.
According to the British Medical Association surgeries receive £25.16 per patient that they vaccinate.
An request was put out by Lakeside Healthcare on the Support Our Stamford SOS volunteers website asking âclinicalâ and ânon-clinicalâ people to complete a survey about their experience and the hours they could offer.

A spokesman for Lakeside said: âLakeside is looking to utilise volunteers in order to enable it to continue to deliver as much of its normal service as possible.

He said: âWe are delighted to learn that this important, centrally located medical centre is to remain available to the people of Stamford and the surrounding neighbourhoods.
