Polar Fest 2021 is set to get underway this Thursday, Feb. 4, in Detroit Lakes, with more than two dozen events scheduled through Monday, Feb. 15.

Detroit Lakes’ annual celebration of all things winter, Polar Fest, is set to open this Thursday, Feb. 4, with more than two dozen activities slated to take place in and around the community through Monday, Feb. 15.
Poles N Holes to hold virtual event to go with annual ice fishing derby
“It is our goal to hold the on-ice derby, if at all possible. The community has been good to us and we really feel like this outdoor activity will be needed for fishing enthusiasts and families after all we’ve been through,” said organizer Brent Gerber.
