A major windstorm and rain event impacted the southern portion of Yellowstone National Park, primarily Lake Villiage, on Monday, July 3, according to a Yellowstone National Park press release.
No fatalities or severe injuries have been reported, the Park Service reported on Wednesday. Additionally, there have been no substantial disruptions to visitor services.
Clean-up efforts are underway at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming after a major windstorm blew across the southern portion of the park Monday, knocking down hundreds of trees, park officials said.
