Murder suspect arrested in Lafayette County
On Friday, June 11, 2021, Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff s Department arrested 41-year-old David Swims for the murder of his wife, Anteeatta Swims.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) On Friday, June 11, 2021, deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department arrested David Lee Swims for the murder of his wife, Anteeatta Swims.
Deputies were dispatched to 204 Spring Lake Cove in The Lakes subdivision for a welfare concern. Upon arrival and at the completion of the investigation, deputies arrested 41-year-old David Lee Swims for the murder of his wife, 36-year-old Anteeatta Archie Swims.
A Lafayette County man is in jail, charged with killing his wife on Friday in Oxford Mississippi, according to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department.
